'Enter the Dragon Boat' Smashes Bradford Dragon Boat Race


For our summer 2023 charity event the Stonehouse team decided to compete in the 'Bradford Dragon Boat Race' and took on some of the best rowing teams around.

On the 1st of July 'Enter the Dragon Boat' came a respectable 8th out of 20 teams whilst raising a huge £3156 for Dreams Come True - not bad for beginners!

Dreams come True is a national children’s charity, whose mission is to enrich the lives of children by making their dreams come true. They and we believe every child has the right to dream no matter who they are or where they live, so they work extremely hard to deliver dreams to children who are living in the highest areas of deprivation in the country, and are living with a disability, serious illness or life-limiting conditions.

An amazing day was had by the whole team whilst supporting this fantastic charity.
